THE ART OF WRITING

THIS MONTH'S ARTICLE

Writing a Novel

Writing a novel is hard work -- harder in many ways than ditch digging.  I am reminded of the effort required to go from a fuzzy idea in your head to a book on the bookshelf every time I finish a novel.  In the not too distant past, the process for writing and publishing a novel was a well defined path down which all writers were forced to tread.  With the invention of the INTERNET, the options for aspiring novel writers have expanded dramatically.  So our subject this month is "What it takes to write a novel."
